Students often say that although they can see what they want to draw, they can't actually do it. They feel that what is holding them back is some failure of method, and it is all too easy at this point for them to believe drawing is a special gift possessed by the very few. My experience suggests that the failure lies in their inability to truly see and analyse the subject, rather than not being able to make use of a technique.
This course will be more than just learning to draw it will also enlarge your visual vocabulary which ultimately will improve your drawing skills.
Nine lessons have been devised so that they can be studied at the student's own pace. It is quite acceptable to work more slowly, or a little faster, whichever is most appropriate.
You will learn how to draw as below using easy to follow step by step instructions.

The aim of this course is to encourage drawing in colour using different materials including ink, pastel, watercolour, coloured pencils, charcoal and mixed media. Practical exercises and projects are designed to develop visual awareness, understanding of technique and personal style.
Each course commences with an introduction to materials and equipment, with some easy to follow exercises to build confidence as well as competence in drawing. Illustrations and diagrams to help in areas such as tone, colour, texture and perspective and exercises in developing the ability to see and improve the visual memory.
Each lesson has an assignment which should be completed and returned for assessment. It will be returned it to you with practical comments, guidance and encouragement together with suggestions for improvement in any problem areas within a few weeks of receipt. The student is responsible for postage to the tutor and the tutor is responsible for postage to the student.
Students will also receive constant support, encouragement and guidance throughout the course. Students having questions about the course may telephone, write or contact by email. Individual attention is given.
